About PantryPalz
PantryPalz (one word, spelled with a z) is an iPhone app that keeps track of the food in your fridge, freezer and pantry. It shows you what to eat first and reminds you before anything goes bad, so less food and money end up in the bin.
What PantryPalz does
- Tracks every food you buy by typing, scanning a barcode, scanning a receipt or scanning the printed date.
- Gives each item a use-by estimate based on typical storage times, and you can change it to the date on the package.
- Reminds you before food goes bad and lists what to use today and what to use soon.
- Suggests recipes built around the food that needs using, and builds a shopping list of only what's missing.
